Water Damage - Durham Kitchen

Water damage occurred at this Durham home's kitchen when rainwater was allowed to enter via the open sliding glass doors in the eating area. The base cabinets were saturated with water, and the subflooring had absorbed a significant amount of water. The base cabinets would need to have heated air movers and dehumidifiers positioned to help in the drying process by moving warm air and reducing the humidity in the room. The client and their insurance company would be involved in any decision to demolish and replace damaged cabinets.
