Fire Damage – Durham Garage

Fire damage struck this Durham free standing garage when an electrical short led to a very expansive fire. The before photo shows the extent of the fire damage to the roof of the structure. We initially placed tarps on the roof of the structure to prevent any further damage to the interior and contents of the garage. We removed the contents to our warehouse for restoration services. We then employed a CO2 pellets method to blast to clean the charred supports. This method is very efficient and has cost advantages over other methods making both the homeowner and the insurance company appreciative. Once blasted the exposed supports were treated with a prime coat that helps with any remaining odors and presented a more dressed up appearance for the garage.
