Spend the Day Learning, Bonding, and Having Fun in an Historic Durham Site
The Ole-Time Farm Fest at Bennett Place in Durham, taking place Saturday, November 21, 2020, between 10 AM and 4 PM, is the perfect opportunity for some family fun. Put away the cell phones and tablets and get ready for some games and contests from the mid-1800s. The small fee, $5 for those 17 and over, and $3 for those 4 - 16– goes directly toward Bennett Place’s upkeep and is greatly appreciated. For more information, call (919) 383-4345
To add to your enjoyment, Bennett Place also offers the following to the public:
- Free picnic area, with tables available on a first-come-first-served basis,
- Forested trails where the Bennett Farm was once located,
- Gift shop with several items, including those that reflect the Civil War.
